Dean Martin

More than just a smooth crooner, Dean Martin was an actor, comedian, movie star, and producer extraordinaire. His frequent collaborations with Jerry Lewis and membership in the “Rat Pack” (alongside fellow entertainers Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford, and Joey Bishop) were nothing short of legendary, and continue to be crowning achievements in his storied career.

When it came to singing, the “King of Cool” was responsible for such timeless standards as “That’s Amore,” “You’re Nobody ’til Somebody Loves You,” “Volare,” “Everybody Loves Somebody,” and “Ain’t That a Kick in the Head?” His larger-than-life image as a boozy playboy was cemented through over three decades of Las Vegas residencies.

Even though the world lost this showbiz superstar in 1995, Martin’s memory endures. His hits have been featured on the soundtracks of many film and television shows, and hardly a day goes by without a Rat Pack tribute show recreating his effortless style, ensuring that his sophisticated pop and signature wit resonates with an entirely new generation.
