B.B. King

Photography by Ken Settle

Mr. King had just come back from touring all over Europe, Latvia and just about everywhere else one can play. He played a show in Chicago, one in Indiana and came straight through to Cleveland, Ohio to do a matinee show and a late show at the Palace Theatre. I set up a little studio in one of the third floor rehearsal rooms.

I have never worked with a nicer, more accommodating artist. A true gentleman and a true legend.

Portrait of B.B. King with cards at the Palace Theatre in Cleveland, 11th April 1993.
