Bob Dylan

Photography by Guy Webster

Dylan was the best songwriter that I had ever heard. He changed my life. When I heard those early recordings I thought: “Here is someone who speaks my language.” It was the adolescent energy of Dylan, the Byrds, and Paul Simon that gave popular songs real meaning for the first time.
