Albert Collins

Photography by Andy Freeberg

From 1979–81 I was one of the official press photographers for the Montreux Jazz Festival.

Albert Collins and the Icebreakers played on “Blues Night” (that also included B.B. King and Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown). He came out into the audience and sat in my chair for a few pictures.

Albert Collins performs at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Montreux, Switzerland, July 1979.
