Icon Photographer Christian Rose (1946–2023)
Christian Rose was born in Paris, France in 1946. He began his professional career as a freelance music photographer in 1965, publishing his first images in Jazz magazine, and remained a regular contributor throughout his life. For more than fifty years his work appeared in the international press, in books, on films and TV, and at exhibitions worldwide. Christian passed away in July 2023.
