Rock ’n’ Roll Album

Photography by Terry O’Neill

Terry O’Neill’s Rock ’n’ Roll Album contains some of the most famous and powerful music photographs of all time. For more than fifty years Terry captured those on the frontline of fame. He spent more than 30 years photographing Frank Sinatra and gained unprecedented access as his personal photographer. He took some of the earliest known photographs of The Beatles and forged a lifetime relationship with them that allowed him the opportunity to document their weddings and other intimate moments. It is this contrast between public and private that makes Rock ’n’ Roll Album such a powerful and vital chronicle of rock’n’roll history.

This spectacular Deluxe Collector’s Edition is slipcased, limited to 300 copies, with a signed and numbered bookplate. It also includes a 10" × 12" print of The Beatles at Heathrow in February 1964, en route for their first visit to the US at the invitation of the Ed Sullivan Show. This incredible photograph was recently discovered buried deep in Terry’s archive, where it had lain forgotten for 50 years.
