Rod Stewart

Photography by Ian Dickson

Rod Stewart’s fondness for all things Scottish is well-known and I got on famously with him during the ’70s—at the last count, he offered me a million for my accent —and never more so in this Smiler session I did with him for Record Mirror when he declined the usual ‘cheesecake’ and opted for something ‘a little different.’
