The Rolling Stones
Photography by Barrie Wentzell
“Most Fridays I’d go to the rehearsals of Ready Steady Go!—it was THE TV show at the time. The Stones were there on this visit and they were playing “Paint it Black,” although they were miming to a backing track, Brian Jones was playing the sitar for real and then on marimba for “Under My Thumb.””
