“After spending an afternoon photographing Benny Hill, the British comedian who had a hit with “Ernie the Fastest Milkman in the West,” I continued my evening in the front-stage pit shooting the Ike & Tina Turner Show. The performance was electric, packed with energy and fire. Tina wore this “almost” dress and along with the Ikettes, danced up a storm before my eyes and lens.”
